Benefits of Health Insurance
Nothing is certain in life. Jobs are lost, finances fluctuate, new bills are constantly accrued, and the price of everything continues to rise. Our health is, unfortunately, not immune to this uncertainty, which is why it is so important to have a reliable health insurance policy.
Just because you haven’t been sick yet and think your health is good, doesn’t mean that you don’t need health insurance. Not having health insurance could kill you financially, and maybe even physically unfortunately.
Since you cannot usually get good health insurance once you find out something is wrong, you need to make sure you have one in place before. Most people who have cancer or heart disease do not have prior health problems, so if they did not have health insurance before their diagnosis, they may not be able to obtain it after, which will become insanely expensive.
Your finances could be destroyed and your life could be ruined both financially and physically if you are diagnosed with something life threatening or expensive and you do not already have insurance. You need to think ahead and plan for anything happening, because you really don’t ever know what is around the corner and you need to be prepared.
Obviously we don’t want to think about getting sick or becoming poor because of it, but it is better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to your health and finances.
